AUS ROLE

AUS was engaged by TfNSW as a Technical Specialist (Utilities) to assist them in assessing the utility scope associated with redeveloping a number of sites. The sites were proposed to be commercial, residential and mixed use.

Description of Service Scope:

  • Undertook Power Studies and advised on loads, points of connection and sizing of sub-stations
  • Reviewed and advised on easement & RoW requirements
  • Undertook Water & Foul Water Studies and advised on loads, points of connection & supply/discharge
  • We reviewed previous work and identified opportunities for improvement of the integrated transport planning outcomes within the development of a residual property and divestment strategy;
  • Provided technical advice on the interface with other Infrastructure works;
  • Prepared technical implementation reports/papers that documented the approach, process and outcomes of the technical work, suitable to support the definition design and final business case;
  • Prepared presentation documents summarising elements of the residual land and divestment strategy appropriate to the scope of work to assist the finalisation of the final business case for investment decision;
  • Provided high level assumptions for services for each product typology (residential, commercial, retail, childcare and other);
  • Provided high level commentary on services infrastructure existing capacity and or required upgrades; and
  • Provided high level forecast for Authority contributions
