AUS ROLE

AUS has been engaged by TfNSW as a Utilities Coordinator, embedded within the TfNSW team taksed with assisting the TA develop utility strategies, and undertake utility designs and obtain certifications.

We are required to review the design consultant’s utility designs for accuracy, completeness and readiness for construction in order to mitigate risks  We are also required to assist the design consultant in managing the interface with the utility authorities to ensure that utility designs are delivered in alignment with the project milestones.

Description of Service Scope:

  • Utilities Project Management & Coordination
  • Utility Clash Assessment Checks
  • Utility Constructability & Staging advice
  • Utilities review of the Designs (Contestable – Water & Electrical) & Treatment Plans, including assisting obtaining Scope of Works and Letters of Offer from the utility Authority
  • Checking Utility Tender Estimates and Utility Construction Programs 
  • Interdisciplinary concept designs reviews 80, 100%
  • Utilities Transaction, Contract & Delivery advice
  • Subject Management Expert services for technical tender submissions review
  • Reviewing Utility Specifications for inclusion in Tender/Contract
